Projects are flexible containers that group related captures, tasks, and pages. Use them to separate work from personal, organize by client, or track specific initiatives. AI helps by suggesting project assignments automatically.

Creating Projects

Create a project from the sidebar or when capturing. Each project includes:

Name & Description

Clear identifier and optional context

Color & Icon

Visual distinction in lists and filters

Default Settings

Auto-apply tags or categories to new captures

Archive Option

Hide completed projects without deleting

AI Auto-Assignment

When you capture something, AI analyzes the content and suggests which project it belongs to:

    AI reads your capture and compares it to existing project content

  • Smart Suggestions

    Top 3 matching projects shown with confidence scores

  • One-Click Accept

    Accept the suggestion or choose a different project

  • Learning Over Time

    Suggestions improve as you accept or override them

Project Contents

Each project acts as a container for multiple content types:

All thoughts and notes assigned to this project

Tasks

Action items extracted from project captures

Pages

Long-form documents created within the project

Project Context in Chat

Use @project:Name in chat to scope your conversation:

Project Sharing

Projects can be shared with enhanced visibility controls:

  • Mark projects as "shared" to control visibility
  • Shared captures appear in feeds with proper attribution
  • Personal content stays private while sharing what matters
  • Filter and organize shared content easily

Project Workflow

Start with broad projects (Work, Personal, Side Projects) and create more specific ones as needed. You can always merge or reorganize later.
